May sound simplistic, but is the coolant level good?

Maybe there’s a grounding issue that’s causing bad gauge readings - look at all the wiring and grounds.

don't have an air bubble locking system do you? sensor can read hot if air locked there.
may need to let it run until thermostat opens, that will take care of air bubbles. can tell when it opens as hose to t-stat will get hot when it opens.

Your are better off turning it over to a professional before destroying the engine,if it isn't already too late. The moment ANY diesel engine overheats is time to shut it down and find the reason. "Finding reason" doesn't include tinkering then restarting to see what happens.

Did you fix that issue? Was it difficult?
I have a similar heating problem at the moment and have no idea how to deal with it.
Does it make sense to sign a hvac contract, like this one maybe https://lawrina.cоm/templates/hvac-contract/ with one company or should i just find a man for a this job and next time look for someone else. Appreciate your advices.
