I did find this on HF....take a look, with a little fabrication a nice PTO generator could be had cheap...10,000 Watts Max/7200 Watts Rated Belt-Driven Generator Head

Could someone read the Jame Davis review on the HF site and tell me how he is saving money using three of these to stay off grid? Where is he getting the energy to power the generators?

If he has perfected perpetual motion before me I am really going to be upset.
The only way I can see it is if he has some kind of wind or water powered motion engine turning over those heads..
still not 100% but the review is bogus IMHO...
Syncronizing 3 gen heads is really difficult..
When I was in the Corps we had a system that required 90KW of Generator power..
we used 2 60 KW diesals for this..
and the problem we had was syncing them..
often the exciters were not workign good enough.. so the system allowed us to split the load and 1 genny provided 50 and one did 40...
how he can do this with those cheap things is beyond me..

Is why do they make these 15KW generators for 3PH and not have one that has an output for all 100 AMPs on a single connector...

I am considering either a whole house jobber or a PTO or something..
So if I got a 15KW or a little smaller like this for the right price...
I might just do it..
