While I was moving I noticed the 3pt lift would not work. Changed the hyd filter and checked the screen in trans but still not working. Cracked a pressure line and I've got fluid coming out so the pump seeme to be working, now give me some idea where to ck cause I'm stumped. Thanks, Larry /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Didn't screw in your lift 'stop/hold' valve did you?

Seems that the lift lever has no effect at all, it there some internal part on this lever subject to fail? Thanks, Larry

Is the 3ph up or down, and if down can you lift it easily with no load? (Don't try to lift it very high or you can pull the piston out of the cylinder and have to remove the cover to reinstall). If "up" it could already be pulled out.

Piston and rod are not connected and unless there is something broken they cannot fall out when lifted up.

So, you have a manual not electric spool. Cool. Even easier. If your pump is good (flow does not equal pressure) and your handle is not just spinning on the shaft going into the valve then your bypass port in the 3 point valve is stuck open either because of debris or feedback linkage. Easiest thing to do is pull the valve, use a rubber tip air nozzle put air to it and find out if it is porting to sump or putting pressure to the 3 point piston. Please give me a call if this doesn’t make sense, I am happy to walk you through it.

EFC, I think you are on to something. I will pull the valve off again and double ck. There are two places where a spring and ball setup is located, one close to inlet line and the other by the adjustment knob for down speed, Must be the first one stuck. How do you get this out? Thanks, Larry

Pull the valve off and it will be self explanatory. Put air to it and you’ll know quick if it is working or not.
