I got the Turf Tire Set from Hoye. I did some research but wasn't able to make it any cheaper unless I did some major fabricating and to me it wasn't worth my time to chop things up. Not that I didn't want to purchase from Hoye, but sometimes money is tight. Anyways I went with his setup and love it. No problems and I love the added traction and its easy on the grassy areas you don't want to ruin and great in the snow so far the last 2 years.
Thanks for the info. Definitely like the look and wider stance that setup gives you. I will probably order the same setup from Hoye as well. The tires themselves that come with the kit, are they a straight turf pattern ? Also curious as to what brand they are. Titan, Carlisle, Imports?

Yes the wider stance is nice, and so is the extra footprint. I believe the tires I have are Carlisle, and they are a straight turf pattern. I liked it so much that when I bought my 155d I put a turf kit on there as well.

Thanks! Definitely going that way this winter so I’m ready for another mowing season when spring gets here in 5 or 6 months.

Yes those wider turf tires are great in snow and on the turf.

I’ll tell you I really love the 2210D. Used it all summer with a light weight 4 foot brush hog to mow my field. Really a handy sized tractor to have. I’ll tell you that 2 cylinder is a real thumper. Love the simplicity and the quality that makes these old tractors still very viable today.

Yep I love my 2210D too. I use my on a regular basis to move trailers, haul wood in the loader or scoop manure. I have a 5.5 ft tiller I use in the summer and a 5.5 ft snowblower in the winter, I will say that little 2 cylinder really works nice and like you said simple too.
