Thanks to everyone who gave advice. Good news, today is delivery day of the 1910 that was at the dealer (1500 hrs, turf tires, Dual loader) /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. The package deal with: 72 inch woods finish mower, 60 inch woods brush cutter, 84 inch lands pride landscape rake, and 72 inch woods box scaper (all are brand new) was 12,800. In further examination of the tractor we found two points on the Dual loader that appeared to have cracked and been welded. The best way I can describe the area is on the large braces that run from the rear mount to the front mount along side the engine. These braces don't move and I'm at a loss about how they could have cracked, one crack each in about the same place. Anyways, they had been welded, poorly, and I worked in a new weld. Also found a leak that I thought was from the rear axle, wound up being the transmission so they had to split the tractor and replace a seal. I'm so happy I went with a dealer who included these repairs, which I feel confident were done correctly, and have a place to go back to if there are more problems. I probably didn't find the best deal out there but now I have a relationship with a dealer right around the corner from me and already believe they're going to do their best to make things right! Like Don said, can't always be worried about small potatoes.
So, guess I need to look to other threads to figure out how to use all this stuff, but I'd be interested in any comments about the package price.
Worse thing is the tractor is home and I'm at work and will be for the majority of the next several days /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Thanks to everyone who took the time to help, I'm sure we'll be crossing paths elsewhere on this board!
