1660 shutting down

I am leaning more toward ignition related only because its killing the dash lights and the neutral switch is tied in on the start side. The dash lights and fuel shutoff solenoid is tied to the run side.
I guess you have made sure its plugged in good.
I would also unplug it, remove it and look for a loose pin on the switch itself.

It would help me to better understand if you can answer these:

does it ever do it sitting still idling or does it always do it while you are working (moving).
does it kill the radio
does it kill the blower motor on the heat/ac
does it ever start to die and then misfire and begin running fine again
how long in between incidents every 5 minutes every hour is it getting worse as to when it does it.

Also I have seen people try and turn the key to far to the left when shutting it off and messing up the internals of the switch making it loose fitting and sloppy.
Are you the first owner of this tractor?

You dont have a wad of keys hanging on the key chain as Mike476 mentioned earlier.

Have you found mouse crap/ mouse nest anywhere in the cab - could be a chewed up wire.

Sorry for all the questions

Just an update, after testing the ignition switch, I found a loose spot that would lose contact when the key was wiggled. My dealer sent me a new switch, I replaced it and problem is gone.
