16LA FEL and Thin Paint

I noticed yesterday that every 90° corner (sharp corners) on the loader had thin paint and rust was starting to show. Any of your folks FEL's doing this? I spent about 3 hours today sanding and touching up all the corners on the FEL. Once first coat dried somewhat I put a second coat on. Looks good now and hoping I don't see any more rust on the corners.

What do you have for a loader? Do you know if the loader was powder coated or painted with a spray gun? If it was with a spray gun, it might be a case of a thin primer coat as well. Did you show your dealer the problem? I am going to have to look at my loader now and get back to ya.

Sorry Randy, I didn't remeber the title of this thread.. I'll check out my loader as mine is a NH 7308, so I'm sure they coat them the same as the 16LA.

I noticed that a while ago as well on my 18LA. I just whiped the rust off and I had a NH blue spray can and touched it up. Looks like new now. It wasn't really rusted, just a kind of very light rust I could whipe away with my finger.
