1700 cylinder head /looking for machine shop or head

I have a cracked cylinder head on my 1700 ford. Does anybody know of a machine shop that can rebuild a really bad head. I've tried the recommended local shops (mid Ga.) no one wants to touch it. One of the locals sent it to a shop in Atlanta they also refused. Anybody ever heard of midwestcylinderhead.com? Any advise would be appreciated.

Try Manitowoc Motor Machine. They can fix about anything, or know someone who can. They did the crank,rods, pistons, bearings, and cam in my John Deere 60 and everything looked beautiful when it came back. They are not cheap, but not outrageous either. Give them a call and see if they can help.

Try Eagle machine shop, http://eagleautomachine.com/. They're in Auburn and specialize in head repair, but mostly high performance stuff. They did a super job on a Mercedes 420 sel head and valve job. I'd send pics.
