1710 Ford Tractor!!

I have a 1710 Ford Tractor. I want to know, can I add a remote Hydraulics for the rear of this tractor? It has already a front end loader on it now..

If you have hyd on it now, is it easy enough to add to the hyd system.

Tractor Data says you have a total pump flow of 7.8 GPM.


Is this a new type loader valve, with a PB port, and if so, you can add a remote valve.

Ok, I'm not sure about that. What is a PB port??

If you have a loader valve with PB, you will have seven hoses.

You may have the PB port and not using it.

Look on your valve and see if there is a stamped PB by one of the ports.

PB is used to pass fluid to the next valve.

Valves with out PB use the return port to pass fluid to a tank/reservoir.

It has 4 coming from the side and 2 from the bottom with a fill line from the trans. Looks like you could add one more if need be, but I'm not sure.

I have a 1710 ford tractor with 3 lines coming from the transmission to the control valve for the front loader.Can I hook into 2 of these lines for a 3 point hitch backhoe?If so which lines do I hook into?
