1715 Rear Wheel Flip ?

I have the 11.2 x 24 AG tires .... measured them, 42" right now, yep I can swap sides and gain 6 inches of tread width ... can come in handy on my hilly property.

Also it will move the valve stems to the outside, real pain having them on the inside right now.

In a month or so it's going in my shop to get one of the rear rims replaced .... rusted out ... I'll be ordering a new rim and welding it to the old hub which will be fine after some painting.

HI, MY 1715 HAS 12.4 X 24 ON THE And they are reversed. Also the front tires are 7-14 and also reversed. According to the owners manual this isn't right? Do I need to change both front and rear tires as well as the front wheels? I just bought this for a reasonable price cane with a loader and backhoe, back hoe needs a cylinder. Thanks for any incite I'm totally new at this. I think I'm in for one heck of a project?

When you think about it, reversing the front tires really accomplishes little for stability since the front axle still pivots in the center. My tractor also had the front wheels reversed. I put them back to normal had have noticed no change in stabitlty.

Yep a wider stance on the front only helps stability when the front axle pivot hit's the limit stops .... which when you think about it might help in an emergency ... but wouldn't have any effect until the tractor was already in trouble.

Chestr ... I don't think you would need to change tires, you just move the left wheel to the right side and the right side to the left side.
