1720 Rear Remotes

I have a '98 1720 and would like to add rear remotes to it for top-n-tilt. I called my local NH dealer and he says NH no longer sells a kit for the 1720 through whole goods.

Does anybody know if a kit for a tc30, tc29 or tc33 could be made to work?

Dave, sorry I can't help but I'm watching your post and hoping someone knowlegable will reply. I have a 1920 and was also hoping to add a rear remote (or two). I called the local dealer and got a quote for over $600 for parts only! I've read here that guys are adding the first remote to Boomers for under $300.

You can always add an aftermarket valve and plumb it using the power beyond from the loader's valve. This assumes the 1720/1920 are similar to today's tractors hydraulic systems.

I have a 7308 FEL. I did not know that going off the FEL joystick (valve) was the way this is done. If i run off the FEL power beyond port will I still have full use of the loader? I want a rear romote to turn the chute of a snowblower and need use of the FEL to pile snow.

Yep, No problem.

I have posted the instructions on how to plumb this up a dozen or more times in various forums here on TBN. You can pickup the valve, hoses and fittings for about $400 depending on how many spools you want. Surplus Center has Prince SV valves that will work just fine. If you need configuration info PM me.
