3-Point Hitch 1720 replace lift rod with leveling box lift rod

So I'm wanting to replace the stock lift rod with a leveling box lift rod on my 1720. Pain is the A** using a cheater bar to make manual adjustment and loved the hand crank lift rod I had on my old ford back in the day. Any suggestions would be most welcome - Thanks
