1720 tach cable?

Im hoping someone with this model might have a source for a tach cable. I have been searching forever and dont seem to find one. Even a part number would be helpful I think.

Not as of yet. Plan to when the weather gets better. I mostly want it for the hour meter tracking..

Id like to thank Peter for the link on this. I ordered one and it came in today. IN my searches this company didn't show up. so I was thinking it was going to be a hard item to find. So huge thanks for the link.

Hi. I'm new here, and I suspect that will show in my question. I recently acquired a Ford 1720. The tach and hour meter do not work. I pulled the cable off the back of the tach and started the engine. The piece inside the cable did not spin, so I'm thinking at least one of my problems may be that cable. I went looking for the other end of the cable, which I assume connects to the engine somewhere, and I cant' find it. Any pointers on where I'll find that other end?

I don't know, but when you shop for a new cable call Messick's in PA.
They will either have it, or be able to suggest who does.

@Bedlam , did this cable fix your tach and hour meter problem? Any installation advice? I'm having difficulty getting at the non-tach end of the cable on my 1720.
