185 hydro having issues moving forward and reverse

Thanks for all the info. I'm not ready to give up on this mower yet and part it out. Even if I have to rebuild/replace the tranny I feel like it will be worth the cost as there are a lot more years left in this mower.
Having said that is there a rebuild kit available for this tranny that anyone knows of and can reccomend?

I have never seen a k46 with five bolt rims. Just a square key way and a circle clip. The K66 is the lightest Tuff Torq with a five bolt rim.


I was trying to put in a picture of this page but can't figure out how to do it. On this page it shows that my 09 Husqvarna LGT 2554 big box store "gardentractor" did indeed have the K-46. It also had five bolt wheels. I was really surprised when I figured that out. And not happy either.
Not trying to argue with anyone here.

I have since learned some models and brands actually have the tranny model listed in a sticker on the seat bottom!
