So It still appears not to filling the reservoir but ther is enough to fill the tube running down to thermostart. I replaced thermostart and its firing right up now .

I been working last 2 weeks on grafting a front end loader I had on a Bolans large frame that was missing it's motor on to the ym186d. I piped it from the block under the seats out to open center valve and back to the in port on the block. Started it up loader twiched but wouldn't move . Did some digging on here found a mention of a plug being needed. Pulled fittings off and noted a bypass in bottom of the block . The in port has a threaded section of a smaller diameter underneath.it took a 5/16 o ring boss plug . With that installed we are up and running. Operation is a little jurky I plan to run it for a bit and swap the fluid and see if it clears up

If you are going to pull a plow you will probably want wheel weights and filled tires. Without more weight, even with a one bottom 12 inch plow, if you let it get too deep it will stop the tractor with all 4 wheels spinning.
The 186d is a great machine. I use a 4 foot bush hog and a 5 foot finish mower.

Nice size machine. I own the same one, with the factory FEL. Make sure you fabricate some type subframe to connect the loader tower support, to the rear axle area of the tractor. you dont want the bellhousing to have to take the stress of the FEL carrying and digging. Also Hoye Tractor parts has the white plastic headlight facia, the part that wraps around the front lights.

I had wounded about the sub frame looks like some have them and some I can't really tell in the pictures I have seen. I have plans for making a new headlight bezel to accept some Leds. It's been a great machine so far moving stuff around and little bit of dirt work I have been able to do between the rain. But can definitely use some more wieght

Rear wheel weights, 77 lbs per side, made a huge improvement in pulling power on my YM186D. I had to modify these weights of unknown origin to make some clearance for the valve stems.

I posted photos of the subframe under my factory loader in a similar recent thread. Did you see them?
