Sorry. The post for the wire that goes into the starter is woobly. I think this is causing it not to make a complete connection to start. Plus the post is pretty much stripped.
That helps I am not afraid of solder. Where can I find repair studs from? Is that something that an auto parts store may have? The plastic that is at the top of the solenoid is starting to crack. I would assume that to solder I would have to break all that away.
Oreillys was able to find a similiar solenoid off of a mitsu deisel truck, but I brought it home and it didn't work. It seemed like it was a little bit too long.

to repair you'd likely have to disassemble it entirely.. i've done it before.. flipped contacts and all.. usually not worth it unless you can't find a new one.
now.. if it's all cracked up and falling apart.. that's another issue..
