1920 engine

the engine spun a bearing, took forever to get it out because of the loader backhoe framework. I'm thinking of getting a shibura 4cly with the same block casting numbers will this work? the dealer wants a fortune for rebuild parts. will any other engines work? I hear shibura also made engines for perkins and someone else. I think its a 1988 the casting number is N844 32 horsepower

Can't answer your question but in case you're searching the internet for that engine, my manual spells it shibaura.
