I still think you're missing something with the hoses. If the lift operates properly with the loader valve out of the system, and then problems occur when diverter spool is rotated, the loader valve plumbing must be involved. Not sure how you verified the hoses to be correct, but it's developing restriction somewhere when oil flows through the loader valve, right? What about the supply/return for the backhoe attachment? How does that figure into this at present?

OK - Problem found and solved. My tractor partner had removed the backhoe and did not properly secure the line feeding the diverter. I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't find this right off the bat as it connects right at the diverter but it sure looked secured. Thanks for everyone's help.
