Good morning! My dad has a 1948 IT Shop Book and a 1951 IT Shop Manual, both are in great shape. He has a 1974 parts list in a binder, but the binder is older - after 64 the binders had blue and gray tractors on them. Anyone know what these are really worth? You know the "interwebs", pricing all over the place. They are really cool books. Any help is appreciated, he needs the income. Thanks so much in advance!!

No answer here, other than to say value might be a personal thing. That is, IMHO, to 99.99999% of people they have no value…other than what they can be resold for to that 1 in a million (10 million, 50 million?) person you’re trying to find that values it for other reasons. And how much does that person value them? You really have to find them first to ask.

I tried selling an owner’s manual I’d bought new for an older Dodge pickup truck I’d had for a while. Who doesn’t want an owner’s manual for their vehicle? Apparently nobody..

Also tried selling a repair manual that has detailed instructions for specific older cars. Got zero interest. Yet they seem to informative to throw away. I guess I’m stuck with them for life now!

Good luck!
