Way back in the dim times when I was poorer than I am today (still poor) I used this product to seal radiator leak.... NOt sure about a head gasket though.... Anyway if it were to work it would be easy, cheap fix... Just don't spill it, it's a powder that goes everywhere...

Leak seal additives seal ALL holes, including those flues in the radiator. That's a last ditch effort at masking the real problem. I stay far, far away from them

I've tried the alumaseal before long time ago and has worked, heck might still have a tube of it somewhere and have deff spilled my fair share of them in the past :) I ended up draining all the coolant out of the tractor and then flushing the system out with water and then filled it up with water and got it up to temp and put some liquid glass in it and let it idle for an hour with it in. Then I shut it down and drained out all the old oil and took out the old oil filter. Once it was cooled down drained out all the water and going to let it sit overnight to let the liquid glass set. Will flush it out the rest of the way tomm and fill it up with some oil and run it and see if anything is still getting into the oil. If it is then the head will come off. If it doesn't leak, will use as is for this summer and this winter tear into it and fix properly.

I also noticed while I was letting it run the transmission was leaking oil out the weep hole and only when it was running, once you shut it off it stops. I checked to make sure the transmission fluid wasn't high and it was right at the low mark. It dripped maybe 2 - 4 tablespoons full in that 1 hour of idleing. That amount should I be worried about or that fairly normal for this old of a tractor? Also noticed the color of what was leaking looked like water mixed in it or rusty kinda colored, so pulled the fill plug and sure enough its like a rusty brown color. I am sure water leaked past the crappy shifter boots. Yet on the dipstick it was like a clear honey sticky substance. All the gears and everything else look super nice and not rusted or anything.

Most likely this will turn into a winter project and go through the whole tractor.

The hydraulics were weak on my MF 135 when I bought it. I drained the watered down fluid, removed the left side plate to remove and clean the screen, and poured 5 gallons of diesel fuel in the trans. I ran the tractor around the yard for a few minutes, and I used an air hose to agitate the diesel fuel in the transmission.
I opened both drains and let it stand overnight. With new (correct) trans fluid, the hydraulics worked strong and steady afterwards.

I plan on doing the diesel clean out way as well. Did you use the GL1 mineral oil?

Yes, I have to drive over 40 miles to get it. No local stock.

Thats a bit of a drive just for oil. I am checking around today to see if anyone has any locally and if so how much. Takes 8 gallons?

Just about 8 - closer to 7.5, actually. My closest agent supply supplies everything for NH, Branson, JD, Kubota, etc, but old Massey parts and fluidss are hard to find. When I rebuilt a Z134 engine for my MF35 last year, the best machine shop for getting parts, turning the crank, doing the valves, etc. was 52 miles away across the Alabama line.
