First, apologies to Vintage Wheel Horse purests. Take a deep breath before continuing
. My grandson's 'other' grandparents had an old 1961 Wheel Horse in their barn. They used it for mowing and snow plowing 'way back' when their son (my Son-in-law) was very young. My Grandson, Ethan wanted to convert it to an Industrial Road Grader. So, we stripped it down to frame and I began to imagine how to do this remake. The blade is the original snow plow blade, cut down from 16" to 6-7"ish to fit under-belly. The snow plow A-frame was shortened about 36". The original blade pivot is used, but controlled from the back, and modified a bit to limit blade pivot to work between the rear wheels and foot rests. The blade springs were replaced with fixed turnbuckles. The blade lift was donated by an old MTD mower I had.
