1965 ford 2000 rear oil level plug

looking for the rear axle oil level plug. found the transmission level plug and the hydraulic dipstick. i thought the rear level was going to be the plug on the back but I think the manual is saying it is the one on the side kind of behind the foot stand which takes a hex wrench to unscrew. Thanks in advance.

The plug on the back is the correct one.
