1967 ford 2000 Gas
Hello,

I recently purchased a 1967 ford 2000 with a FEL. Tractor runs well and everything works as it should, only issue I have is the narrow tri-rib fronts. They are tearing up my lawn as well as the back area of my property. I live in a fairly low area and this summer has been very wet so far. What im wondering is if I can flip the factory wheels and run them dished out with the FEL, that way I could run a truck tire such as a 235/85r16 with a little wider foot print as well as no ribs. So is this possible or not? also does anyone know first hand if a 235/85r16 will clear the spindles when running the fronts dished out? One day I would mind some fairly wide may 10" implement tires and wheels, but as of now that's out of my budget.

You could try flipping one side and take clearance measurements. My guess is that you will have no problems.

that's good to hear, I just want to make sure flipping to stock wheels was ok and that the FEL wouldn't put to much pressure on the spindles. The tractor sees light as far as the FEL goes
