1974 FORD 4000 3 cyl ignition coil clarification

You won’t see that resistor, it is integral to the wire harness. That manual shows with/without it but the reality is ALL 3 cylinder Ford gas tractors have it.

Just wanted to post an update.

I got the 6V coil and it does work just fine. In the end, it ended up being a bad fuel pump, so now I have a spare coil!
