Good to hear!
The 684 Is a 3.9L diesel aswell, all they did is turn a screw, it strangely lowered PTO hp674 is 62 PTO HP. They were built in Doncaster England or final assembled in Louisville KY from UK skid unit. 1973 first year.
No doubt some were still being sold new in 1978 or later. The 684 came out in 1978 (replaced the 674)
There is a serial number list on tractor data, but it doesn't state if it's US or UK.

Since you are in Canada, it's likely a UK build, the headlights will be in the grill.

I had a IH444 once, The reverse gear bushing messed up, Dealer said he changed one once but did not last, it was a double clutch, I like the single clutch models, Mine does not have glow plugs but plug the Preston heater 20 mins and away it goes, I can blow 3 foot of snow in 2low and no black smoke comes out of muffler674 and 684 use same D239 and both were rated 62 PTO HP.
574 used D239, but was rated 52 PTO HP. 584 used D206 at 52 PTO HP, there was also a 474 that used the D206 at 48 PTO HP.

He just removed one tire and rim is like new, he said 18psi , i'm using a tubeYou're not going to use actual calcium are you? After seeing what my Allis Chalmers rims look like after years of calcium I would never use that. Much better stuff these days to use that is not as corrosive.
