Troy,
this is from an earlier post last year I think.........
The original manual for the fwd gear drive tractor calls for 12.2 qts of any of the following:
Kubota UDT
Mobil Fluid 350
Exxon Torque Fluid 56
Front Differential 0.74 qt SAE 80 Gear Oil
Left and Right Front Wheel Gear Case 0.15 qt. SAE 80 Gear Oil
Recommended change is every 300 hrs.
Two drain plugs in bottom of transmission halves.
Strainer is the large center bolt in the suction pipe of the hydraulic system
I have used Amalie All Trac 245 for the last 10 or 12 years without any problems. Since the hydraulic system uses the same fluid (all one system) and I have the FEL and hydraulic dump trailer.... when I changed the fluid to Amalie I ran the tractor for a few hours after the first change and then changed it again to try to minimize any mix of different fluids. Not sure it was necessary but for the cost of the fluid it seemed to the right thing to do. I guess the proof is in the history. 22+ years without any problems except the battery which I have changed 3 times. Filters changed of course.
I have parts and owners manual so just ask if you need anything else. My
B7100 is a 1983 that I have owned since new.
