I replaced the wore out lift piston seal and cleaned the inlet screen. the tractor is working smooth and not jumping as before, thanks guys for the help.
But the best thing was my grandson was off work and asked if he could help with the tractor, so a day bonding with my 20 year old grandson and got the old tractor fixed as a bonus

Some may remember me talking about my neighbors tractor that belonged to her father and I had tried to buy, well back in Dec 2020 she decided to take me up on my 2 year old offer and sale it to me. I changed all the fluids and filters and with a little work got that old tractor to running. I have not really worked it hard until this weekend and I decided to do some bush hogging with it. with weeds and kudzu over six feet tall that little tractor was working hard. After about an hour the three point quit lifting the mower and it would just drag the ground so I loaded it up and went home after I got home the lift was working again but I checked the transmission and the oil looked milky so I changed it putting six gallons of new oil in it and everything was working fine. Until I went back to finish the bush hogging and about an hour after starting the lift quit again, but not completely this time, so I did finish before coming home. my plan is to clean the screen in suction line, that I didn't know was there till yesterday and replace the seal on the lift piston. what else should I be looking for?
We have a 1900, same age. Granddaddy bought it new. Only new thing he had bought, odd, since he was born in 1900. Put your battery in a battery box. Battery acid gets pulled by the fan to the screen and radiator, makes holes. Water pumps are high for those tractors. But, you can buy the guts and just replace the internals a lot cheaper.

That's a really good tractor. My first tractor - brand new 1982 Ford 1700 4WD. Kept it 27 years.
