Toplink 1982 JD 2040

I have a 1982 JD 2040 and am about to purchase a bush hog for it. The sales person asks if I have a center link (top link?). Does the 2040 in question have this?

yes the 2040 has a place for a toplink tobe hooked up.but since your buying a new shredder id go ahead an buy a new toplink.
