Small. The smallest you can find. I ran a 52" finish mower on my little 11hp Yanmar and it was more than it could handle. Really had to stay on top of the grass or I'd going very slow. I'd try to find a 48" rotary mower. Be sure to get an over running clutch too.

Also, I have been doing some research on rotary tillers and it looks like the Land Pride RTR05 may be a good choice as it's advertised as being specifically for sub-compact tractors..I'm thinking the 42" model may be just what I've been looking for and luckily there are 2 Land Pride dealers within 15 miles of my place..

I have the next size up (AC5020) and I have run a 6' brush hog on mine however a 5' would be more suitable as it pretty much plays with a 4'. The biggest issue I find with mine is the front end gets light,, the 6' mower needed 4 75lb suitcase weights on the front and the cutter was a light duty model. I have also had a 4' tiller on mine and again no issues running it at all.

Try really hard to find a reverse cut model. My Yanmar came with a Japanse tiller (really, really good tillers) but it was a forward cut. When breaking hardpan I'd have to be really careful. Otherwise the tiller will start to walk forward. It would pick the back of the tractor up, lift the tires off the ground and start propelling the whole thing forward. Really exciting because the front axle doesn't provide much stability and objects in front of you start getting big pretty quick!
