A quick update:
I have ordered what I believe is everything I'll need to finish fixing this tractor from hoye. They even stock some items I didn't ever think I'd find, like fuel pump shims (the OEM ones have some deep ridges I'm not comfortable with).
In all, I ordered up:
- Fuel pump shims
- An oil pressure sending unit (just in case)
- A fan belt (OEM looks pretty cracked)
- A new hydraulic lift piston o-ring (even though it looks fine, it's apart and only costs $3)
- OEM replacement bolts for the ones which broke off on the rear axle (I'm
really shocked he stocks those!)
- Hydraulic pump shaft key (for the future)
- Decompression cable assembly (mine is missing)
By the time that order comes in, I should have the axle split apart and the old bolt threads extracted. Then it'll just be a matter of putting it all back together, adding fluids, bleeding the system and seeing if I made things better or worse
I wanted to order a new dash, as it is only $22 and mine is busted pretty badly, but I can't see spending needless money for a tractor I'm still not sure will work 100% (or even at all) when I'm finished. I'll likely just plasma cut a new one out of sheet stainless and call it good. That way I can exclude the holes for lights and blinkers, both of which are missing on my tractor anyway. (I can add them back later).
I'll try to keep this thread updated with my progress and document with as many pics as possible, seeing as everybody loves pictures

, myself included. Oh, and they may help the next sucker who buys a "bargain priced" Yanmar, haha!
