Lost all my green antifreeze from a burst hose!
Any recommendations on new antifreeze?
I’m getting a different colour recommendation from every dealer I speak to!
It’s seems hard to find the green that was originally used.

Just go to any decent auto parts store.
They will have the old standard green ethylene glycol coolant.
No need for newer fancy types.
They are an option,though.
Good Luck!

Old school green anti freeze is perfectly fine to use in a diesel as long as you change it every two years or use an additive package to replenish the chemicals. When the chemicals become depleted diesels have been known to develop tiny air bubbles (cavitation) next to the liners that erode the liner when they rupture and if ignored long enough it can penetrate the liner.
