1997 JD455 motor

So, I wish you luck, they are great machines if they are anything like the gas 445. I haven't heard of any problems, nothing like the 425, and 445 cam shaft problem. I found a 455 3500 bucks Hours 511. Tempted to get it.
Where o where was it when i bought the new CC 2554 last october?

They do have quirks about them. The tail lights fall out over time but can be fixed with a bracket that was on the export models. The pegs that the hood bolts screw into come unglued and hood gets shaky. The dash clusters tend to get moisture in them and eventually the temp and fuel gauge quit working. Keep an eye on your front marker lenses also.

Great tractors! As far as the hours, I have had three at various times, all of which were high hours and ran great. My last one had 3600 hours and ran like a top! Never an issue with those yanmars, they just keep on shake, rattlin, and rollin'.
