With a No.7 backhoe and loader that price seems pretty good based on the used ones I looked at this past spring.

"It's normal. Don't worry about it. A can of Rustoleum primer and a can of JD green will fix that right quick."

One of our other TBNer's (GlennT, I believe...has a 670) used a spray on pickup bed coating to cover these bare spots. He got it from Walmart. Per Glenn, it's been on for several years and still looking good. He didn't specify, but if it's a non-skid type, that would be a good idea.

That is normal. I have a 2001 JD 790 with 220 hours on it and I have worn the same places on my platform.

That sounds pretty good Darin, the backhoe alone is a $6000 investment. I've got a 790 and I'm showing similar paint wear ofter only 100 hours.

If you get it and decide you don't want/like that backhoe let me know (seriously). I know I want one but can't swing new just yet. Used are pretty hard to come by, particularly all set up for the right tractor /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Thanks alot everyone for you've eased my mind now tremendously. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I will let everyone know how it all works out. I will also let you know about the backhoe itself RobS if everything works out. You see RobS and everyone I buy different pieces of equipment for specific jobs that I or someone else has that require them. Once I or my family is done then I will turn around and sell them or trade for the next project. I figure this is better than renting because I work at my own pace and then get most of my money back that I would never even get a chance to do if I just rented them. I think you all know what I mean so that is why I have different units in my bio, which I need to update because I've sold the L35 & excavator.

Yeah that's the way to do it alright cowboydoc but I can just wish that was the way for me to do it. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif I might have to sleep on em on the side of the street somewhere and call them home because the wife would throw me out for sure. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
