It's really not too surprising. With the dirt/grit on the bottom of your shoes, that's basically like sandpaper or emery cloth. 181 hours of constant sanding is going to take the paint off. They could have put in some reverse dimples. The paint would have still come off the top of the dimples but not have been as noticeable. Dimples may not have been as comfortable on your feet though.

Well I decided to buy it then bought the trailer too/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif This is a real nice machine and hope that we will work it good. I have done a new post for a problem that I've experienced with it titled "incline safety switch or something" so please check it out.
