Long story.. but 3 hours of mowing turned into 8, and I learned how to pull the fuel tank, both fuel pumps, lines.. everything except the injection pump... and clean out while in the field.

Not fun..

Anyway.. I'm late for work.... hope they like diesel.... shower didn't even touch the smell.

I got it back together and running.. but I was way late, and smelled of diesel. Combination of plugged filters and water. Must have gottem a bad tank last week, as the tractor sets under cover, and I drained quite a bit of water yesterday.

NH made sure that the connection points to all the lines were either sandwhiched up together behind stuff.. or have major brackets in front of them. It must have taken me 10 minutes with a half inch OE wrench to get a single fuel line off the fuel petcock. I could get a 1-facing turn on it, and then have to re-position the wrench. made for a long afternoon.

Boy.. when the whole thing started as I was mowing.. I was really sweating it. All things being equal, large tractors usually cost more than small tractors to fix.. and I was starting to get worried till I found out it was an 'easy' fix.
