I think it may actually be the new version to replace the KL4010. At any rate you get an extra 100lbs of lift capacity.

.... play safe and remember that the lord doesn’t count time spent tractoring against your total allotment. Very nice rig!

Man you're not kidding! I put in 23 engine hours in 3 days clearing land. It's been hot, it's been cold, it's always windy I've been kicking up all kinds of dirt and dust. I've had a great time but I don't do this for a living, if it weren't for that cab I'd have been in the house!

Here's almost a before, during and after shot of the 1st job. I forgot to get a true "before" shot, imagine the back left corner is full of crap too!

First issue popped up.

While installing a radio I discovered I had no battery power at the radio plug. After talking with the dealer and looking at schematics we determined that the same power also feeds the dome light which I knew didn't work from day 1 and I had been assuming there wasn't a bulb in it and I had just ignored it, but sure enough there was no power to the dome light either.

The dealer was able to point me to a connector under the left floorboard and when I checked it out it was full of water and corroded to the point that the pin for the power wire was actually gone. The connector is full of rubber seals so it really should be weather tight. I've never met perfect before though and things happen but the dealer is going to make it right and that's what counts in my book.

I知 a firm believer in dielectric grease on all electrical connectors. Keeps the water and corrosion out. One $10 tube will last you years and save you countless headaches.

The pin that corrodes in the connector is a constant 12v power pin.

Kioti Service has a kit with a new connector.

They claim that the original connector points up and collects water and cleaning solution from pressure washing after unloading at the port..

The new connector points down and self drains.

Not sure I buy the complete story, but the failure is certainly caused by electrolysis, and the new connector seems to work.

Ah that makes sense why the dealer knew exactly where to have me check then, sounds like it's a known problem.
