Soon to be TC33D
Wow!! I am in love!! I finally took delivery of my new TC33D, and I must say, I am more than happy. I took the loader off and put it back on, took off the quick detach bucket and put it back on, and did some landscape raking and loader work yesterday afternoon, and I am pleased with all functions. After owning a Ford 1210, which I liked, I feel spoiled. There is more power than traction, which is a good thing. I understand Brandon's and Big Dave's joy. This machine can work.

There were only 2 problems that I could see/hear. The first being a squeak, somewhere around the loader control. It only happens at low idle (under 1000 rpm) and sounds like a plastic/metal on plastic rub. The next was the 3 point control was shaving plastic off the fender, underneath the cover. It has developed a notch (very small) that catches when you are lifting the 3 point. I don't know what they are going to do to correct that, but for $18,000, I expect perfection.

The ATI quick detach is great, and the ATI 66" HD bucket is a much beefier unit than the New Holland. It comes predrilled for about anything you could want to mount to the bucket. A bolt on toothbar or cutting edge could be bolted on, no muss/no fuss.

I did end up purchasing a Woods LR107-2 84" landscape rake. I called the dealer to check delivery time, and he told me he had this rake which was a customer return, that he would sell me at a reduced price. I got it for $600, which I thought was a pretty good deal. The rake was spotless. I can't believe that someone even used it.

All in all, I am a happy man. I was laying in bed last night dreaming up all the projects I can tackle now. I hope to have some pictures by the end of the week. Thanks to all for the good advice, information, and friendship.

Tractor Addict,

Congradulations on the new addition......I know you will enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine!!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I have the same problem on the position control lever. It hits the plastic of the fender about 1/3 of the way up. Mine is also pretty stiff (makes the implement jerk while repositioning it). I am going to look at mine tonight or tommorrow and see if I can figure out a fix. If I do I will take pics and post the solution.

Enjoy the new toy......uuhhmm.......I mean tool...yeah that's it tool....../w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Why lay in bed and dream? The headlights are working aren't they? Get out there are get seat time/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Congrats on getting that baby home. Enjoy!

PS regarding expecting perfection, you should expect it to work perfectly, but don't sweat any cosemetic issues, as you are going to add some battle scars -- sooner than you might think.

Tractor Addict,

Congrats. I couldn't sleep last night either, having a new tractor in the shed made me feel like a kid at Christmas, I couldn't and still can't wait to get back on.

I didn't notice the lever scraping the plastic fender, but the 3pt motion is jerky, I'm hoping the service manuals arrive shortly and the problem could be solved easily.

I hope to get dirty this weekend, probably about 7:00am on Saturday, my wife will be thrilled. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Have fun /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Congratulations, I know how you feel, my TC33 was delivered today/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif. I plan on picking up the service manual this Saturday(as long as the second mortgage is approved to pay for it /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif), and should I find a solution to the 3pt issues I will post it. Have fun!

Well, I got a chance to mess with the Position controls last night.

I pulled the cotter pin out of the nut that tightens the friction disks on the 3PH postion control and loosened the nut one full turn....... AND MAN DID IT MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

It moves really smooth and easily now. This weekend I am going to hopefully (Weather permitting) be doing some dirt work and can test it out.

I would Highly recommend making this adjustment!!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I will try to lake some pics tonight.

After making this adjustment I don't notice the rubbing as much. I think it is because I am not having to put as much force on the lever to get it to work...?
