for a Case 580?

They're quick attach style, not the cheaper flip down or clamp on forks.

$2,900 seemed high. I only paid $650 for my Bobcat style forks.

Anyone buy the big forks lately for a full size B/H?

Bucket forks for Loader Backhoe

I got my used ones for $300 but lucked into them.

I think I saw some on E-bay last month for about $600 new, but last I looked they were not there, I was thinking it was a regular seller there, but could not find them again.

No, Backhoe Loader set.

Well, I called the company in the link you provided and they said they didn't make forks heavy enough for a Case 580, just the flip over style or clamp on style which are not what I'm looking for. I want the self contained kind that goes on in place of a bucket, like the ones shown on P.10 of this brochure:http://www.casece.com/files/tbl_s93PDFRepository/PDF521/711/Loader Backhoe M Series 2.pdf

I'd say if you got a set of quick attach forks with a brick screen in the back for $300, you got the steal of a lifetime!

Heck, my little Bobcat style forks were like $700 used.

Oh, I did not realize you wanted to replace the bucket with them, I had not seen the type that you showed on that brochure.

My don't have the rock gaurd, just the forks on a cross bar.

I wish they pinned on, then I could dig with them (you can't with this style)

Yep, I lucked into mine, happened to ask a wrecker driver I know, turned out he had just bought a backhoe, that came with these, that I got, and wanted a BIG set... So he had these laying about.

For that kind of money, I would be tempted to start with one of the large AG universal racks, and an old set of large fork's with cross bar and make my own set.

What is the lift capacity of a Case? I imagine if I worked at it, I could rip the mounts on mine off the bucket, but for lifting most pallets of stuff, 2 tons is more then sufficient for my needs.

And it is awful handy to just scoop them up and drop them without leaving the cab.

Mine.

Already had the mounts on the bucket, course they are 2 inches too far apart............................ go figure,,,

Nope, I use the flip-over ones and you're right. Not the world's best set-up but I got 'em so I use 'em :(

There's some for sale here, might be worth checking on. BACKHOE , BACKHOE Forks, BACKHOE Heavy Forks at RockandDirt.com
