LOL, L39 I know what you're talking about. Now, the question is has the measurements changed between the loader arm bucket links to the bucket on a 580C to the newer M model backhoes? I don't recall EVER seeing an actual palet fork attachment for a 580C backhoe but I could be very wrong. I have only seen the forks attached to a bar and the case bucket has like 5 hooks on the top of it. I know that there have been changes in the design of the loader arms and the links to the bucket for curling and dumping the bucket slightly differently then the older models but I don't know if you can purchase a fork attachment for an M model that would fit a C model.
The quick attach style you mention is a little vague. The M's have two types of quick attaches, one that is a manual and the other hydraulic. They hyd. is out of the picture. BUT, if the linkages have not changed than you might be in luck for the manual quick attach, the only thing is the bucket wouldn't fit for the quick attach since again, the C's did not have such a thing. Price wise, I couldn't tell ya. Sorry.
Attached is a picture of what I am talking about as far as change in design which would prevent you from getting what you're thinking of.
