So here is my setup ford 3000 Diesel, ford two bottom plow, I have the leveling arm pulled all the way up but the plow is still running High on the left side so only one of the plows are in the ground. My question is the lift pins on the plow look like the can be rotate to change the angle of the plow so when it is in the row the left side of the plow will dig in as well. any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help.

standing behind the tractor the right side should be about 2" lower . I assume you also have the right side of the tractor narrowed to run in the furrow

It is possible the pin adjustments connecting the left Lower Link to the Left Lifting Rod are not set symetrically to the right side settings.

Most consider threaded Right Lifting Rod adjustment a "fine adjustment". ( The threaded rod can strip.)

The pin adjustments connecting the left Lower Link to the Left Lifting Rod are coarse adjustments for high draft for tasks, such as using a Rear Blade or Box Blade to ditch.

The higher pin holes are the standard connection point. I expect the Three Point Hitch adjustment on the right side are pinned too low.

Coarse implement adjustment are always made via the Three Point Hitch, one of the highlights of Harry Ferguson's design.

For the inexperienced operator trying to learn, park the tractor on flat ground with a 6x6 block under the left rear tire. Drop the plow to the ground. It should be sitting very near level. If not, start adjusting until you get there.

Might even be something so simple as the top link is adjusted too long.

As Ovrszd suggest find a flat spot or concrete shop floor works also. Once on the 6" x 6" with the left rear wheel raised, proceed to level the plow front to back by lengthening or shortening the top link. Then level the plow right to left, your left lift link (looking from the rear of the tractor) should be collapsed if your left lift link is adjustable. Use only the right lift link to adjust to level. If you have coulters these need to be adjusted about 1/2 to 5/8" to the left of the share point and cut deep enough thru roots and trash but not deeper than the share point. Another adjustment is to have the plow track directly behind your specific tractor that the plow will always be attached to. If you change tractors readjust to it. I have a 10-209 Ford Dearborn 3 x 16" setup to my 08' Mahindra 5530. The file from Bullbreaker is great info.

Not picking on Idaho but his picture reminded me. Your stabilizers should be loose. Only purpose being to keep plow from swinging into tires when carried. Properly adjusted the plow will naturally track centered behind tractor when plowing. Loose stabilizers allows the plow to find it's own sweet spot.

Use only the right lift link to adjust to level.

I once used this technique when I acquired by first moldboard plow, a Ford 101. Getting secure blacks can be difficult. Mounting both left tires on the blocks can be harardous.

I much prefer to sink the plow, then use a 6" Topedo Lever as reference to adjust plow level fore and aft and port and starboard. Too me: safer, faster.
