Chains 2 Link v 4 Lin Ladder Chains?

   / 2 Link v 4 Lin Ladder Chains? #21
For OP 4 link chains would be more than adequate, heck I've seen old-timers with just 2 cross links on the whole tire and not have traction problem. That said I can't think of any argument against 2 link except a little extra cost.

My experience is the same. I have R4 tires and BC (before chains) I was having a hard time sliding all over when I pushed snow. I bought simple 4-links for the rears only, and AC (after chains), traction is totally adequate. One more small step, I unhooked the brake pedals from each other so I could apply one or the other to enable me to steer better, and now all is A-OK. :)
