Ok, I know that this has been covered somewhere around her probably, but I have a pto question.

With all the differences of live pto, independent pto, 2 stage clutches, etc.. it is hard to figure out exactly what you've got going.

My NH 1920 has I guess a 2 stage clutch. There is a lever that you can flip down to clutch the engine for gear and range changes, but the pto stayes on. You can push through the spring loaded lever all the way, and clutch everything.

With a 2 stage clutch like this, it doesn't seem like an overrunning pto adapter is needed, as the pto is disconnected from the rear wheels at the first clutch point? right?

No, with a double clutch (I call it) you do not need an over running clutch.
