Or use herbicide if your going to spray the **** stuff in the first place, spray it and kill it. If you cut it you will cut it again in 2 months?

And, NEVER burn the stuff. Brings back memories of an incident from a Boy Scouting campout way last century. Weren't me, but a couple of kids on the trip apparently burned some of the stuff in their camp fire, breathed the smoke and got it in their lungs and throat. Put them in the hospital for sure. Same could happen with dust or fines I imagine.

Take care,
Dennis

Hate to tell you Dennis But what you described is a brown and burn. We often use it in a site prep situation for a new timber stand. It works great any weak shrub or compeating hardwood thats not killed by the herbicide will usually be killed off by the fire. The fire will also burn the above ground vegitation down to the soil to allow for a good seedbed. Generally you allow a month or two between the spay and the burn, the chemical is usually washed off the leaves by then, but i imagine if you breath to much of the initial smoke it would not be good for you? i usually stand up wind in a burn anyway :).
