I hear we may break records for cold.

We've been sub zero the last two nights. It's moving east, to you all, and then out. Good riddance. It's not spring yet, for sure, but it's time for some moderation.

I'm not ready for heat yet, but agree about the moderation.
Last week everyone was talking about spring, and i was reminding them it was still February. It's been a good year for cutting wood though, in winter we rely on the cold to cut where we can't send machines in summer. Also we use roads that freeze in winter, are nothing but soil in the summer, and mud in the spring and fall.

I would honestly rather it was -20.

35* and rain here. It sucks.

I wish we could skip spring. Stay froze through march and then thaw out and dry up in about a weeks time. Go straight to sunny and 80.

Well, 65-70 maybe. The only good thing about those 80 degree days is that it makes my garden grow.

I find that this is almost what is happening here the last few years. Not as dramatic as you say but it heats up right away lately.

We were -18 2 days ago, I hope that's the last of it for this year.
