I have worked outside in -25 weather years ago. I don't think my joints would work in that temp these days, lol!

Our ground here is south central KY will freeze overnight enough to make it nearly impossilbe to push a wheelbarrow full of manure across the ground after the horses have tracked it all up. Then by around noon the next day it will be nearly impossible to push through because it is so soft and sticky. It does not really freeze solid at all. I don't get the tractor out much during this time because it will really mess things up.

Even with the recent rains, we are actually coming out of the mud season with the longer daylight hours, wind and warmer temps.

You got it. No mud with that senerio.:laughing: For the most part I've only got about 4" around most of the barn, but there are two holes that the cows walk through where they go up to their bellies. Can't believe they won't walk around those holes, but I guess the shortest path is a straight line.:laughing:
