2001 Toro Z-Master 52" Z149 price range..

Howdy. My boy just bought a house and an old Toro ZTR came with it. It was running rough, so he bought a new 46" ZTR to get his lawn mowed. I drug the old one up north here to my place and found an old mouse nest on top of the right cylinder. Cleaned out the nest and cleaned up the motor, and now she runs like a top. Has just under 1000 hours on the meter. The controls are kind of herky jerky compared to his new one... but the thing runs.. motor ' sounds ' good '... no ticks or knocks. About how much if anything is an old comercial unit like this worth on the low side.... ?? It came with a slip on collection bag and the original stock deflector shoot. I don't want to give it away, but also don't want to over price something this old/condition and screw somebody. Thanks, Jerry...

In my area $3500 to $4500 ,for a commercial mower that size with what is considered low hours .I have seen 1800 to 2300 hour machines priced this in this range ,but they don't sell very fast.

I would think that was about how much it cost new. Son would be tickled to get $500 out of it...
