2002 kia sedona

This is not the first time I've heard this, from several different forums, about Hyundai and Kia warranties. Sounds like documentation may be your only hope. Fix it, and live and learn I guess...............kind of puts paid to the "savings" of doing your own work vs. taking it to the dealer............

hello , again thanks for all the comments. Its gona cost me 2055.00 dollars to rebuild the trans plus a new torque converter. The trans shop told me the problem was there is a drum in the transmission that had a crack in it, he also told me he suggests i take them to court and he is gona give me all the parts he took out of it along with documenting everything he found. Yes i am also going to call the local tv stations/newspapers trying to get some negative publicity for the car dealership. And yes i have learned to save every receipt for any mainance preformed by myself or a garage. It really bugs me that i bought that van only because of the "great" warranty and then when it needed to be used they came up with every excuse they could to get out of it!! So after the van being at the garage for over a week and a half while i was trying to get them to cover it i will get it back from the trans shop on monday with them having it there for 2 1/2 days. In the end i hope to get my money back in court but i will make sure i get enough bad word out about kia/ the local dealer that they will lose far more then the 2000 i lost.
