UPDATE: Almost done. Need to disassemble and paint. Maybe add another pillow block in the middle of the 38" shaft and figure out how to adapt the Kubota 15 spline 1" pto shaft to the blower 1" keyed round shaft for now and to other implements later. I have the Kubota driveline which is a rectangular 3/8" x 7/8" shaft and will most likely use that. MORE LATER......

Thank you. I wasn't thrilled that I cannibalized the practically "new" Kubota front hitch assembly to built it_I used the shaft the driveline and the pillow blocks_ but I didn't have the knowledge to source those parts by myself. It came out pretty nice, it can all be disassembled for service, it doesn't interfere with steering or any other function and allows for pretty good ground clearance.

PS I broke a pillow block along the way and checked to buy another one online. The price was outrageous! so i had a thought to google the numbers on the part and guess what! here it is for 8 bucks! BTW the front bearing support braces should have been built to fit on the inside of the bumper. I lost about 1/2" on my turning radius. No big deal since I try not to steer this tight but I now have to figure out a way to limit the radius to what is allowed so I dont accidentally destroy my tires at full turn. (they will rub on the bracket)20191108_185018.jpg

FYI

I Made some adjustable width bucket forks when I needed to move my BBQ close to the garage for repair. Didn't like the clip-on types because I suspect they would damage the bucket. I have used them many times since and they work great. Not done yet. I left the back side untethered so they can flip up and out of the way and also to add a little blade/plow on the back end for light trenching. I highly recommend the build. Its easy and cheap. I will need to add spring loaded pins/clips for easier on-off operation.20200404_180627.jpg20200404_174837.jpg20200404_174823.jpg20200404_174813.jpg20200404_174806.jpg
