New prices are much greater.
My John Deere 950 got almost as much as I paid for it used 20 years ago.
A fellow my town had a very nice b23.
Someone else purchased for his price of $14,500.
It had a snow blower and grader blade and spare tires and few other things.
It's sad to sell a tractor until you realize it will have a new home and a lot more work to do.
Getting the money is the hard part but there are people out there who have it and are willing to buy.
You might think that it being winter would slow things down.
But people will put a blower on the back and go to town.

That's true...If one does pop up in the paper, it's gone in a day or so...Word of mouth usually gets them sold first...Just say the word, there are people looking. A 6K savings or so over new is significant.
