I wonder if the pickup screen could be clogged? How do I get to the pickup screen to clean it? Thanks for any help.

Foamy means air entrainment.. which usually entails a suction side leak.
Watchout for cavitation.. it gets expen$ive very fa$t!

Try this link http://manuals.deere.com/omview/OMRE72817_19/?tM=HO Look at Section 125 "Clean Transmission Pickup Screen" It should take you to a photo of the screen location. If your screen is indeed clogged you may have the same algae issue I am having. It will be about a week befor I know if I got all the algea out of the system so stay tuned.
